Making hay the old way!

Most years, we try to make small square hay bales. Being on the side of a steep hill, it's not for the faint-hearted!! Our hay is made from meadow grass, rich in rye grass, legumes and herbs. We have not used any artificial fertiliser or sprays since we took over the farm in 2021. As you can see! We have great neighbours and friends who gather around to help us every year.
